Whispering Pines Park,
From The Page (January, 2005):
Come join us as we hold our annual Prize Tourney. Get your armor out of winter storage and come warm-up for the coming Tourney Season. Chuck a spear at lions, and tigers, and bears, oh my! We'll have lunch and hot or cold drinks, depending on the weather. The site is a nice little city park with a covered area with picnic tables, so we will have a roof overhead if it rains.
Site Information: Whispering Pines Park, Pacific St, Monterey, CA. Parking in the park is very limited, so please carpool if you can. Parking is permitted on the surrounding streets, but NOT in the doctor*s office lot next door. Site opens at 9:30 am, armor inspection at 10 am. Tourney begins at 11 am, site closes at sunset. Site fee $5 for members, $8 for non-members. 17 and under, free.
Autocrat: Anton MacGregor (contact info omitted).
