From The Page (October, 2004):
Come celebrate the 32nd Anniversary of the Province of Golden Rivers and enjoy a feast in the grand style of the Italian noble houses... ahem, without the poison! There will be a variety of meat and vegetarian dishes and the menu will include cheese pie, chicken "limone", "quatro formaggio" lozanges and beef with wine and mushroom sauce... and no poison mushrooms! With only eighty tickets being offered, it is suggested that you get your tickets early by sending a check to the autocrat... purchasing a ticket will "protect you" from losing out on this feast. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door... but wouldn't it be easier to pay up front and avoid the "consequences."
Site information: Recreation Hall at Carmichael Park, (address omitted). Presale: $15 for member and $18 for non-members, at the door: $18 for members and $21 for nonmembers. Children under 14, half price. The doors open at 5 pm and the first course will be served at 6 pm.
Autocrat: Antonio Giordano da Sicilia (contact info omitted).
