Reminisces:

"HRM Alden created a new award for our Western warriors called the "Hero of the West" and gave this honor to Sir Brand McClellan at Estrella War 2005. Sir Brand McClellan shall be marked in the history of the West as the first ever Hero of the West. This award can be given only once during a reign.

His Majesty spoke in court with great eloquence and feeling on why Sir Brand deserved to be the first Hero of His Kingdom and many an eye shed a tear to see this great and warrior and man recieve such an honor. The next morning, I saw his Majesty noted how moving his words had been on Sir Brand's behalf and his Majesty said he wished that he had said one more thing. I asked him what more could he have said and His Majesty Alden said, "I wish to see my own two young sons grow to be Knights and men such as Sir Brand." -- Ysabella Dolfin
