Manteca Senior Center,
From The Page (June, 2004):
Get your pens, brushes and inks ready for Cynagua's Annual Scriptorium. It will be a fun day of scribing and illuminating with the best and brightest scribes in the West Kingdom. There's something for everyone to learn and enjoy. We'll have instruction for beginning calligraphers and illuminators and there will also be several advanced classes for the experienced scribe who really wants to improve their expertise and expand their knowledge. See the schedule below, then say WOW and plan on joining us!
Hall opens at 10 am, first class starts at 10:30. Clean-up about 6 pm-ish... Site donation is $2 per person. We will have a few supplies available but sharing is always nice. For those new scribes wanting to bring some supplies of their own, contact the autocrat for a basic supply list of items. There will be a short break for lunch. So plan on brown bagging it or step out to one of the local fast food shops.
Autocrat: Siramia of Hawthorn Hall (contact info omitted).
