El Cerrito, CA
From The Page (December, 2004):
The holidays are coming, and so is the Annual Beaconsgate Boar Hunt We will be at our traditional site, Camp Herms. In addition to the Hunt during the day, we will have many activities within the Hall (dancing, singing, music, games) for non-fighters and tired fighters. Please plan to bring something for your lunch if you are coming on site early. The head cook this year is Berengaria de Montfort of Carcassonne. The feast menu (direct from the Head Cook) is: pig, pig, pig, pig, pig and raisins. A complete menu will appear on the Province website and on SCA-West soon. Please contact Berengaria at (email address omitted) if you have any concerns about allergies. The feast will begin at about 4 pm-depending on the whim of the Cook.
Site information: Tickets will be $15 for the Feast—please contact the autocrat about reservations; tickets are limited. The price for the Hunt alone is $5 ($8 for non-members), and does not require an advance ticket. The site opens at 10 am and closes at 10 pm - anyone on site at 10:01 pm is part of the clean-up crew.
Autocrat: Eilis O'Boirne (contact info omitted).
