From The Page (July, 2003):
Join us as we recreate an ancient Roman/Greek weekend, or what medieval people *thought* the days of the ancients were like. There will be archery, story-telling, fighting (who will be the next "Thug" of the Westermark?), and general fun & games for everyone. (Possible equestrian events; watch our web site) Cooking: Ambrosia- what would a medieval person have thought the ancients would consider the "food of the gods"? Brewing: Nectar: See above "cooking" - non-alcoholic please. Costuming: what did the ancients wear? (loaner pieces of cloth available for artistic draping.)
Site Info: Opens at Noon, Friday and closes at 4 PM, Sunday. Please close the gate behind you- don't lock unless you had to Unlock. This is a DRY site - no alcohol please. FIRE DANGER IS HIGH.
