From The Page (December, 2003):
Their Highnesses Richenza and Dietrich bid all be welcome to Oertha's Coronet Tournament and the subsequent Investiture of Their Successors chosen by honorable combat. They especially enjoin each fighter wishing to enter the Coronet list to display personal pennons or banners without fail at opening court.
The event theme is "Oertha's True Colors." Thus, Their Highnesses and the autocrat join in encouraging the populace to do any of the following in the days approaching this Coronet: To make or commission garb suited to his or her persona in the Principality colors; To seek out and perform acts of service to the greater good of the populace as a whole; To create works of art in praise of the Principality.
Competitions will be held in the following arts and sciences: (Note: Autocrat seeks contest sponsors!) Brewing: Open (non-alcoholic beverages are encouraged by the Coronets) Bardic: Period song, poem, or tale (points for written documentation and for performance) Armor: A new piece of SCA-usable embellished armor.
