The Thirty-eighth Year

Spring Coronet Tournament -- Far West

May 10, 2003 (AS XXXVIII)

Dewey Park,
Camp Zama AFB, Zama City, Japan

From The Page (April, 2003):

The Succession to the Baronial Thrones shall be decided at the army base Camp Zama in Japan. Relax under sweeping shade trees by a sparkling pond as the competitors for the Coronet display their skills in an Arts & Science Tournament. For a complete list of rules, see (website address omitted).

In addition to the Coronet, tournaments for the title of Champion in both Heavy Weapons and Arts & Sciences will be held. Arts & Sciences Champion entrants must prepare entries in three categories of their own choosing. If enough fighters attend, a bridge battle (on a real bridge, no less) and other martial entertainments are planned. In keeping with the A&S theme, classes will be offered on a variety of topics including handwork, textiles, illumination and dance. If you wish to teach a class, please contact the Autocrat. Her Excellency Morgan will be teaching dance classes and you may put what you learn to use after the feast as we celebrate into the night. Crash space is plentiful so come and enjoy the Valley of the Dragon!

Site Info: Set up at 9:00. Site closes at midnight. Site fee $4 ($7 for non-members).

Feast Fee: $6. The Event will be held at Dewey Park in Camp Zama Army Base, Zama City, Japan. Feast will be held in the Community Cultural Center. Site is Wet.

Autocrat: Cadogan map Cado (contact info omitted).
