Fort Ord Travel Camp,
From The Page (October, 2003):
It's not just about sheep anymore!
Yes, lords and ladies, the Darkwood-Tarnmist War has been resurrected. Who w i l l walk away w i t h the Sacred Legendary Ancient Relic of Koenigstadt? Scenarios are still being determined, but we assure you that Baron Achmere and Baron Erick w i l l give you all plenty to fight about all day long. Choose a side, accept your mercenary "pay," and die gloriously!
Please check the November Page for further information.
Site Information: Site fee is $5 ($8 for non-members); children under 6 are free. Site opens at noon Friday and closes Sunday at 3 PM. Please pack in your own water and be prepared to pack out your trash, as the dumpster service for this site is notoriously unreliable. West Kingdom fire regulations w i l l be strictly enforced.
Legal Disclaimer: This war is NOT a land war. Concern has been expressed that the victorious barony w i l l take possession of the Canton of Koenigstadt. Please rest assured that Darkwood is not actually relinquishing any of its members; and the winning and losing sides alike w i l l walk away w i t h little more than bruises, armor bites, sweaty armor and a handful of chocolate-chip cookies. This is just for fun, everyone.
