The Thirty-eighth Year

Summer Investiture -- Principality of Cynagua

July 12, 2003 (AS XXXVIII)

Odd Fellow's Hall,
Sacramento, CA

From The Page (June, 2003):

Their Highnesses, Cybi and Victoria, invite one and all to celebrate and bear witness to the investiture of Their Heirs. To avoid the harsh Cynaguan heat. Investiture will be hosted within a great hall that remains miraculously cool despite the searing, mid-Summer Cynaguan Sun, i.e. air conditioning (ahh, air conditioning). An adjoining hall has been set aside for your feasting pleasure, so bring your food and drink and revel 'til your heart's content. While this is a departure from the weekend camping events of past years, attendance has been on the decrease and medical issues regarding the heat have been on the increase. The populace will be polled at the gate to determine whether we favor future indoor (air conditioned) one-day events or whether we favor a weekend camping format. As such, attend this event and make your pleasure known. More information will follow in the July Page.

Site Fee: $8 with membership card and $11 without. Children ages 7-15 are $5; 7 and under are free, (Note: The West Kingdom Welcoming Committee is willing to pay the additional $3 non-member surcharge as an option to the populace.) Site Information: Odd Fellow's Hall is located at (address omitted) in Sacramento. For questions regarding the hall, contact the co-autocrat Catherine deGray at (contact info omitted).

Time: Site opens at 9 AM and closes at 10 PM. If you are here past 10, you are part of the cleanups crew.
