The Thirty-seventh Year

Mariners Festival -- Danegeld Tor

May 17-19, 2002 (AS XXXVII)

Live Oak Recreation Park,
Live Oak, CA

From The Page (April, 2002):

Come all pirates, sailors, privateers, navy men, and sea merchants and join the shire of Danegeld Tor at this year's Mariner's Festival. It will be a weekend of oceanic proportions as we play in the shade beside the river at Live Oak, and the Mariners Festival promises something for everyone! Activities planned include: Rapier Prize Tourney, Nautical Games and Trivia, Naughty Nautical Limericks, Bardic on the eric. Nautical Obstacle Course, and much more! We've got coinage and the ever popular Sunday Morning auction, games, classes, music and dancing at this dockside festival. We are currently looking for those salty dogs with their nautical know-how to help by conducting a nautically-based game or class. Make your plans now to join us for a great weekend! The site fee is $7. Site opens at noon on Friday, closes at 5 PM on Simday.

Autocrat: Dhonn MacScathach (contact info omitted).
