Besides Investiture itself: "At July Investiture, a new household (House Evenstar) hosted the first "Newcomer's Forum" We had a number of Peers and very well informed populace volunteer to teach at this forum. It was attended by about 45 newcomers. Countess Mari Alexander taught a lot of the class, helped greatly by Mistress Anastacia Grinsted of Ravenoa and Sir Gerstan Heah Leah. Countess Berengaria de Montfort de Carcassone and Duchess Talitha von Koepke taught about Coronet recognition and forms of address. The forum was very successful and the new interim Cynaguan Chatelaine, Danea FitzRoberts, thanked everyone in court who attended and taught. Her Highness Katira called up all of the newcomers, I think she gave them a small token, but I am not sure, I know they were pretty excited to use their newly learned "court manners!" This event was so successful, there is already talk of doing another at Fall Coronet!" -- Kateryn de Ver
