The Canton of Caer Darth and the incipient Clothier's Guild of the West Kingdom are pleased to announce a lecture and workshops on the Gothic Fitted Dress by Robin Netherton. Robin is well-known to the costuming community; and will be explaining her theories on tiie evolution and construction of the 14th century "cotehardie." The lecture will also include an analysis of the Greenland gored gown. For more information, check out the Canton of Caer Darth's website at (website address omitted). The lecture on Friday night starts at 7 PM. Seating is limited to 40 people, so please contact the Autocrat or Gianetta del Bene (email address) to sign up. Cost is $5 (a $3 non-member surcharge will apply to both events.) You must attend the lecture to attend a workshop! The workshops will be held all day on Saturday and Sunday. Space at the workshops is *strictly* limited to 8 people, ladies only. (Sorry gentlemen!) Cost for the workshops is $15. Workshop information will be sent directly to the participants.
