Lupricallia -- Allyshia
February 8, 2003 (AS XXXVII)

"Lupercalia has a special place for me as it was the first event I attended in Allyshia when I started school at the college of St. Brendan. This Luperclia was even more fun this time with the addition of a trebuchet. Totally unexpected, a retired Humboldt State University professor who lived near the event site saw us and invited us down to his house to see his trebuchet. It is a full size, working model and some of us even got to fire it. After that, many people could be heard interjecting into conversations all night "Did I tell you I fired a trebuchet?". The owner of the trebuchet, Jack, was a wonderfully friendly and kind person who loved sharing his creation with us. He even invited us back after dark to launch water jugs with glow sticks in them! I was very impressed with his generosity and gifted him with one of my amber necklaces, for he was obviously a true warrior needed a warriors necklace." -- Artos Quintus
