Hidden Valley Park,
From The Page (October, 2001):
Bring your fighters! Bring your games! Bring your children! We will delight this day in all manner of family oriented games and activities as well as some down and dirty (yet honorable) fighting. Fighting will include: melees, a prize tourney (bring up to three prizes with which to buy lives), and a champion's tourney (must be a Shire member). Non-fighting activities will include: limericks (clean ones!~it is possible!), coloring contests, "boffer"-crossbow competition, hunker-hauser, other games, and things we haven't thought of yet. Sign ups will be from 10-11 AM. If you know a dance, a song, or a game, please bring it! We will have a potluck lunch a 1 PM. The shire will provide the hot coals, bring your own protein to grill and a dish to share. Pavilions and sunshades are welcome. However, there are shaded picnic tables. There are also potable water faucets.
Site Fee: NONE, donations are welcome, but not required. Site open from 10 AM to 6 PM
Autocrat: Iosef Braun (contact info omitted).
