From The Page (September. 2001):

The great north awaits travelers near and far. Step back to a time long ago where Knights, Ladies, and Nobles abound. A time of chivalry, a time of grace, a time to fight. A Tourney awaits those brave enough to fight to determine the next ruler of our Kingdom. Come one, come all to October Crown 2001, set in the north woods of Bestwodeshire. The pageantry and grace will amaze all that attend. Fighters please bring your banners to help with the pageantry. Archers sharpen your tips and prepare for competition; an Archery tourney will take place. Skill will abound through the art of Rapier, competitors ready your swords; a Rapier Tourney will also take place. See the wonders of me Arts and Sciences through me Fine Art of Illumination- Miniatures and the Technical Science of Metal Working- Pilgrim Badges. Enjoy the creative tastes with the Brewing Competition consisting of Hyppocaras and Clarrey. Smalls will be amused and delighted with the variety or activities that should entertain and educate.
