Come and join us to celebrate the traditional Yuletide spirit. Spend a day of joy and warmth with friends. We invite you to join in our theme of traditional Yule, i.e. the color theme is green red and gold. The shall be tournaments for both the heavy weapons and the rapier fighters. For those not fighting there shall be period games available to play as well as several contests to enter. A winter wear contest - what would your persona wear in the winter? This is not limited to cloaks. Documentation will earn you extra points. There shall be a table setting contest with the theme of being inspired by Nature. There shall be an ornament contest for all ages with materials provided on site; you may also make them in advance if you wish. For the fun of feasting there shall be a light lunch of French onion soup and bread and cookies. (Lunch is included in your site fee.) The evening feast is by pre reservation only at the cost of $5. We must receive these by December first. There will be room for those who wish to eat off board. The menu for feast is: Roast Beef, Yorkshire pudding, hunter sauce, Brussels sprouts, green beans almondine, green salad, breads, and for dessert Christmas pudding, gingerbread and traditional English trifles, strawberry and raspberry.

Site Info: The Site is Viking Hall at (address omitted), Anchorage, AK. The site opens at 11 AM and will close at 11 PM. This is a discreetly damp site. The site fee is $7 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-12; 5 and under are free.
