Come join the Shire of Esfenn for their annual First Sword Tournament and Hood of Esfenn Shoot. The First Sword Tourney will take place on Sept. 22nd at Weekes Park with the site opening at 9 am. List sign-ups will begin at 10 am for both the First Sword and the Prize Tourney. We have some great prizes for the prize tourney including a tourney box made by Chandra, one of Seelie's infamous Chocolate Moose Cakes and many other great prizes. There will be a pot luck luncheon bar-b-que with meat provided by the shire. Pot luck contributions will be as follows: If you birthday falls within the months of Jan, Feb, March, or April please bring a side dish: May, June, July, or August- desserts: and Sept, Oct, Nov, or Dec - salads. Site fee is $5.00. Directions to Weekes Park: (omitted).
On Sunday, Sept. 23 the Shire will hold its Hood of Esferm Shoot at the Archery Range in Redwood Park in the Oakland Hills. Site will open at 10 am with sign-ups and practice starting at the same time. There will be coffee and munchies available for participants and any who wish to come out and support them. There will be prizes available for at least the first 3 highest scores in each division. And of course the new Hood of Esfenn will be chosen.
