January 26, 2001 (AS XXXV)

University of California, Santa Cruz,
Santa Cruz, CA

From The Page (January, 2001):

At wintertide we leave our books to feast and dance and sing
and bum our spirits ever bright 'gainst what news the year shall bring.

Gather we shall on Friday eve, start half an hour 'fore eight,
the twenty-sixth day of the year, many tales to all relate.

Feasting within the banquet hall food withouten milk or meat,
brought forth for you the roasted fowl; all shall share their morsels sweet.

So come now to St. David's hall on a hill above the bay
to sing amidst the harp and flute and then dance dark night away.

Food: Chicken and a vegan dish will be provided. The rest of the feast is potluck. Potluck designations: A-H desserts; I-P salads/side dishes; Q-Z main dishes.

Site fee: $8

Autocrat: Labhrainn (contact info omitted).
