From The Page (March, 2001):
Their Excellencies Bjorn and Hilary, Baron and Baroness of Rivenoak, invite you to spend a fun-filled day in Their Barony (Durham Park). You can expect to see many foolish things happening this day. The festivities will begin with a King and Queen of Misrule who will preside over the day's events.
There will be two prize toumeys; the first-back by popular demand-is the "Hopscotch Tourney," the second will be a "Bear Pit Tourney" using foolish weapons. The weapons should resemble item found in a medieval household (fire poker, haunch of mutton, pitchfork, etc.) Contact Rivenoak's Marshal (and autocrat) for details on weapon construction. After the fighting, there will be dancing and games.
Site info: Site hours are 10am to dark. There will be a side board during the day with lunch type food. Donations to the side board are very welcome.
Site donation: We recommend a site fee donation of $3.00
Autocrat: Francis Bull of Kent (contact info omitted).
