From The Page (February, 2001):
The Shire of RavenShore is planning its second war in the woods of WoodLyn, 14 miles north of Willits.
Unlike Raven's Pour War of last year, this war will be drier and fought mostly in the wooded areas. There will be bridge battles (on a real bridge), a castle defense, and several wooded ambushes.
Further details will follow in the March Page.

From The Page (March, 2001):
The war on Saturday will be held at a beautiful wooded parcel being developed as a small SCA War Site. Come and be a part of the first Fool's Crusade and enjoy a fully SCA friendly site. The battle plans include resurrection battles at an impasse in the woods, an open field with an adjacent wooded area for ambushes and flanking maneuvers, a bridge battle over a real bridge, and lastly a battle at a permanent Castle to attack and defend. Sunday will be open for melee challenges, pick-up fights or possible fighting practices. Also on Sunday, those interested can join in work parties for future site development.
Site Info: There is space for 200 campers under a canopy of trees. And parking for day trippers on Saturday. Sorry, there is no space for RV or large trailers. The site will be open at 10 AM on Friday the 30th, and close at 5 PM on Monday Apr 2nd.
Site Fee: $5
