Spring Coronet Tournament -- Principality of the Mists
April 6-8, 2001 (AS XXXV)

"Coronet was held on a bright and windy day at Ford Ord. Pavilions were set up all around a soggy Eric, and the Invocation began with a glorious showing of banners.

"The second challenge was issued by Christopher to "Whomever is responsible for the weather". Viscount Sir Chad Bitor responded with "That would be me".

"About a third of the way through the day the wind picked up quite a bit. Many pavilions were taken out by the wind, and a pop-up belonging to the Southern Shores took a mighty leap up and over the other Southern Shores pavilion, and descended to attack the Westermark's pavilion. A horrible act that they will be punished for!

"As evening approached and Sir Parlan MacGillvray won the Lord's wreath, the Prince and Princess decided it was the better part of valour to leave the field to the winds and sent everyone home." -- Evaine MacGreger
