St. Mary's Episcopal Church,
From The Page (December, 2000):
The snow is lightly falling, the wind is blowing, the sound of voices ring in the air. The Barony of Eskalya invites you to come and join us in the festivities celebrating the Feast of Saint Nicholas,
Thanks to the generosity of those who have participated in our year-long auctions, there will be no site fee at this event Please let Viresse, our kitchen steward at this event, know if you might be able to attend so she will know how much food to prepare. We will be serving a light lunch as well as a three-course feast.
There will be many activities to participate in during the day. There is a cookie decorating contest for the young ones as well as the young at heart. There is also a table decorating contest, as well as activities to work on during the day. The A&S officer is sponsoring a marzipan competition-remember your documentation. I'm sure that sometime during the day we will be able to find some minstrels for dancing.
A prize tourney has been planned, so be sure to bring your armor and all your weapons. You never know what you might need!!
