Join the Barony of Darkwood in our Yule celebration! There will be much music and merrymaking! Come drink hot cider, make an ornament for the Yule Tree (or bring a handmade ornament with you) and partake in our Yule Log. Ornaments will be exchanged during the feast! The Darkwood Cooking Guild will roast a fine fowl for the evening meal. And, of course, there will be the traditional Mask Competition! There will also be a Masked Tourney during the day! Come and join the fun!

There will be dancing, so put on your dancing shoes. Potluck feast by SCA first name: A-G Breads /Cheese/Dessert; H - N Main EHsh; O-Z Salads/Side dish

A Mad Dog Fighting Tourney? Yes! Dancing? Yes! Live Music? Yes! A feast? Yes! All this and plenty more surprises at the Barony of Darkwood's Yule Celebration. Fighting will start at 11am with sign-ups beginning at 10am. Eric Bjomsson will be our tourneymaster for the day.

For non-fighters, come drink hot cider, make an ornament for the Yule Tree, take dancing lessons or make your own mask for the Masqued Ball that evening. Ornaments will be exchanged during the feast! So either make yours there, or bring your handmade favorite with you. The Darkwood Cooking Guild will roast a fine fowl for the evening meal. Potluck feast by SCA first name: A-G - Breads/Cheese/Dessert; H-N - Main Dish; O-Z - Salads/Side dish. I n keeping with tradition, we ask that each person please bring a dish of eight or more servings.

In honor of our fair Baroness, the Blue Rose Dancers will be providing special entertainment during the feast and Bottom Bunk and the Cabin Boys will play live music during and after the feast. So kick up your heels!
