Mitchell Park Community Center,
Palo Alto, CA
From The Page (January, 2001):
The Shire of Crosston cordially invites everyone (this means you) to dance the day away at the annual Crosston Ball. The site is the Mitchell Park Community Center, (address omitted), Palo Alto. There will be dancing, socializing, dancing, some finger food, more dancing and, if we have time, some dancing.
There will be a sideboard during the day, with some light snacks; donations to the sideboard are welcome. Period finger food please - nothing that can't be easily swept off the carpet. The site is dry; non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. Site opens at 12. Dance instruction will begin as soon as we're sufficiently set up and will continue until 4:30. We then break for dinner until 6pm; either plan to descend on the local eateries, or there is a small outside patio where small numbers could picnic. Some informal dancing may happen during the dinner break, the formal dancing begins at 6pm and continues until 11.
Donations toward the site cost will be accepted, but are not required.
Autocrat: With questions or concerns, contact Rafael de Aldea (contact info omitted).
