The following chronicle was originally published in Therie Tales, Vol. V Issue VIII, Aug. 1999 (AS XXXIV), provided by Anne de Calafia.
Once again, the West was out numbered. I think this
time it was only 3 to 1. We were still allowed 3 waves of attacked, I think two of
three wins. The West Kingdom fought off the enemy but, at last, they did their
final surge towards the castle walls, (the bails of hay) and completely knocked them
down. Then, they proceeded to massacre the remaining inhabitants of the castle.
One good note was the fact that one of our light fighters,
an archer who by the way was a woman, shot the AnTir King right in the chest. Court
Sunday night was so funny because the King wore a red cloak and a white undergarment.
Next to his heart he sported a big red blood stain around the woond. The King was so
funny stating that the royal surgeons were going to do a good job of removing this arrow,
as if their life depended on it. He made the royal archer, again a woman, come forward
and let her know what she did to him. King Uther of the West Kingdom invited a group
of warriors forward who had demonstrated courage above and beyond the call of duty and
the other King said, "Oh, no, you have more of them?" referring to more women
warriors.
