From The Page (August, 1999):
Come one, come all to the Shire of Teufelberg's Anniversary Tourney in Newhall Park, Concord, on Sunday, September 26, from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.! Bring your fighters! Bring your games! Bring your children! We will delight this day in all manner of family-oriented games and activities, as well as some down and dirty (yet honorable) fighting (sign-ups from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.). Fighting will include: melees, a prize tourney (bring up to three prizes with which to buy lives), and a champion's tourney (participants must be Shire members). Non-fighting activities will include: limericks (clean ones! It is possible!), coloring contests, boffer crossbow competition, hunker-hauser, other games, and things we haven't thought of yet. If you know a dance, a song, or a game, please bring it!
We will have a potluck lunch at 1:00 p.m. The shire will provide the coals; bring your own protein to grill and a dish to share. Pavilions and sunshades are welcome; however, there are 12 picnic tables under two large oak trees and a potable water faucet. (This site is DRY.)
Site Fee: NONE, donations are welcome, but not required.
Autocrat: losef Braun (contact info omitted)
