From The Page (June, 1999):
Come join the Guild of St. Hildegard as we stroll along the beautiful American River in the Province of Golden Rivers collecting and identifying plants. As we go, we will be discussing the merits of the various plants (Is it edible? What are the medicinal uses? What is its dying potential? Is it poisonous?), as well as collecting. Please bring good walking shoes, a hat, water, and your lunch. If you do not have a plant press, a white pages telephone book with a large rubber band will do. Also bring a notebook and pen/pencil. Small plastic gathering bags will be provided. The walk will start at 10:00 a.m. Please meet at the Guildmistress' house at 9:00 a.m., and we will carpool to the river.
Guildmistress: Comtesse Aricia [Jehane Deveraux] (contact info omitted).
