Newcomers' Tourney -- Southern Shores

The Ancient, Honorable, and Frolicsome Province of Southern Shores invites fighters of every rank and station to join them for a day of good-natured competition. The following activities are planned for the day:

Fighting lists for fencers and heavy fighters. Fighting activities to be held: 1st Year Newcomers— open to all fighters authorized for one year or less, 2nd Year Newcomers— open to all fighters authorized for two years or less (including those who entered the first list) and a Prize Tourney— open to ALL fighters. Prizes will be awarded in all the Lists.

We will also be having the famous Southern Shores Raffle and the following competitions and activities: Sciences - Garb: First Garb, show us the first thing you ever made, we won't laugh; Arts - Embroidery; Brick Spoon - "Off the hoof (Open category Meat from a four legged animal); Brewing - Non-alcoholic beverages. Classes - Intro to the SCA. Beginning Garb (please bring fabric for making your first piece of garb, about 2 or 3 yards). Page School activities - Boffer Tourney.

Site Info: The site will open at 8am. List signups start at 9 am, fighting starts at 10 am.

Site fee: $3.00.
