From The Page (June, 1999):
One and all are invited to join us in celebrating summer. There will be an arts and sciences display, a heavy tournament, a rapier tournament, dance instruction during the day, a potluck feast, and dancing after dinner. All are encouraged to bring their arts and sciences projects, completed or not, to show off and exhibit their skills. The tables to be used for the display are covered. The heavy tournament will consist of a William Marshal style tournament. Armor inspection begins at 10:30 a.m. and the tournament begins at 11:30 a.m. Each combatant receives a base number of coins for ransom with their sight fee. Additional ransom may be acquired for a $3 donation to the province.
The format for the rapier tournament has not been decided. Armor inspection will begin at 1:00 p.m., and the tournament begins at 1:30 p.m. Anyone who wishes to learn to dance, or who enjoys dancing is encouraged to join us for both the instruction during the day and the dancing after dinner. Everyone is asked to bring a main dish (enough for one serving each for 6 to 8 people) and a side dish for the feast.
Site Fee: $3 for ages 12 and up; under 12 free. The site opens at 9:30 a.m., and closes at 10:00 p.m.
Autocrat: Daniel de Blare (contact info omitted).
