From The Page (July, 1999):
Are YOU our next Champion? Everyone is eligible to participate, so join us and try your hand at some our traditional chaUenges. There will be the infamous Wacky Weapons List, Siege Cooking, and Name That Poison (for those over 21 only), plus many more to choose from. We will be returning to the Dog Valley site this year, so pets are welcome, but please keep them leashed. The site will open at 12 noon Friday, August 13, and close at 5 p.m. Sunday, August 15. As the site is on undeveloped land, there is no drinking water available—please remember that we are at a much higher altitude than many are used to, so make sure you bring enough water. There will be no ground fires allowed~~West Kingdom fire laws apply. Site fee is $5 per person; children under 12 are free. You can get more information, and updates on event progress from our website: (web address omitted)
Autocrat: Lady Beatrix zum Dunklenturm (contact info omitted)
