The Principality of the Mists invites you to Fall Coronet, 15-17 October at Fort Ord. The site is the lovely Fort Ord Travel Camp, in a remote and beautiful wooded part of the base, not the mundanity inflicted parade grounds site. The site will open at 2:00pm Friday and will close at 6:00pm on Sunday.

Saturday will witness the Grand Tourney to discover the Heirs to the Principality of the Mists, as well as (that we know of so far) A&S and Silver Spoon competitions. A&S competition will be Decorated Storage Containers. The construction of such will be the Science Competition; the decoration of such will be the Arts Competition; and an overall award will be given for the best in both the Arts and the Sciences. An entry may be for either or both competitions. Silver Spoon Competition will be Sauces.

With the kind permission of Their Hignesses, there will be a Toys for Tots Tourney to be held on Sunday, under the sponsorship of Vis (among other things) Talitha von Kopke. Those wishing to enter must bring a NEW (in its packaging) toy to donate to Toys for Tots (or $5 if you don't get around to shopping.) IMPORTANT: Make checks payable to the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program, NOT SCA! All toys and money will be donated to the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program. The victor will get a nifty prize and all participants will get a "warm fuzzy feeling" of knowing that they have helped a worthy cause and given the populace a splendid spectacle for their viewing pleasure. The first 48 to sign up for the list will also get a Genuine Talitha Truffle (TM).
