From The Page (January, 2000):
Ahoy, good gentles, all! We have hoisted the colors of Eskalya in honor of our second annual celebration of Baroness Katla's Birthday. Their Excellencies have smiled upon their loyal sailing subjects, providing fair trade for our merchants and Letters of Marque for our privateers. In exchange, we offer to them our tithe of the great wealth acquired and merriment in the form of a Buccaneer Bash.
Boarding will begin at noon on February 12th, 2000, at the Bayshore Clubhouse, (address omitted), Anchorage, AK. This is an excellent site for our festivities, with a deck, a dance floor , fireplace and plenty of room for nautical activities that will continue until 10 P.M. Directions will be available from the autocrats.
There shall be feasting (a la Carib), games, tournaments, and contests, dancing and of course, a challenging treasure hunt. Reservations are needed by February 1,2000. The fee is $12 per person, with those under 6 free. Make all checks payable to SCA, Inc., Barony of Eskalya.
Autocrat: (Direct reservations and questions here) Isabelle Fisher (contact info omitted).
