Pumping Station #1,
From The Page (March, 1999):
War! That's right — and boy, do we have a war for you! We need your help defending our sheep from the nasty Vikings from the Shire of Wudholdt be Secg. There will be heavy and light fighting scenarios and Arts & Sciences classes. There will be a feast in the evening and reveling in the Allyshian tradition. Our sheep need your help; we can't do it without you!
The site will open at 5:00 p.m. Friday for camping, with a torchlight prize tourney at 9:30 p.m. at the Allyshian Great Hall. Saturday, armour inspection is at 10:00 a.m. and fighting will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the pumping station. Classes will be scheduled throughout the day. Come enjoy a traveler's tale, "Pilgrimage to Sheep's Raid," in the form of Chaucer's Canterbury Tales. The potluck feast will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Great Hall. Sunday, croquet will be at 12:00 noon near the Great House. The site closes at 5:00 p.m.
