From The Page (November, 1998):
The Barony of Rivenoak sends Yuletide greetings to all and wish them to come and share in this year's festivities. There will be dancing, games, drawings for prizes, and, of course, feasting. The kindly Baron of Rivenoak has decreed that he will provide succulent meats and asks the populace to bring their favorite accompaniments in quantities to satisfy eight to ten persons. This is a wet site, and candles are allowed but the tables must be protected with cloths. THE HALL OWNERS HAVE STATED THAT SPURS ARE STRICTLY FORBIDDEN BECAUSE OF THE WOOD FLOORS. The doors to the great hall will open with anticipation at 5:00 p.m. and will close reluctandy at 11:00 p.m. The site fee is $5; children under 12 are free.
If there be any bards, troubadours or other persons of talent who would enjoy performing to enhance the revel, please contact the autocrat for detailed offers.
Autocrat: Sir Gerstan Heah Leah (contact info omitted).
