From The Page (March, 1999):
Do you remember long ago, in AS rocks-were-soft, when they held Crown Tourneys in parks the size of a postage stamp? When we had REAL challenges before each fight, because we had the time to do it? The Province of the Mists invites all to relive some of that long-ago fun with our annual Open-the-Tourney- Season Tourney, held in the historic (yes, they used to hold Crown here) Cragmont Park in Berkeley. We invite all to bring their memories and challenges for a relaxing day in the sun (or, if it rains, we'll gossip around the fire and drink mulled cider, which will be provided.) There is no site fee for this event, but bear in mind that it's a public park. Animals are welcome, as are children; watch your children, as there are steep cliffs nearby. For more information, call the autocrat, Baroness Margrethe Astrid Ravn, at (contact info omitted).
Site opens at 10:00 a.m. and closes at sunset.
Description of this event (if any), taken from The Page, or from memory of at least one person who attended the event.
