San Felipe Hall,
From The Page (March, 1999):
Good gentles, it is time once again to dig out your games and your feast gear and enjoy a wondrous day of fun and food at the San Felipe Hall in Hayward. Site opens at 12:00 noon and will close at 9:00 p.m (we must vacate by 10:00 p.m.). We will hold a games tournament (Most Games Won and Most Games Played will win prizes). If you don't know a game, don't worry; part of playing is learning. There will be a feast and other surprises as well. Banners, etc., must be on banner stands as the hall does not allow the use of nails, staples, tape, etc. The site is a discreetly wet site, and we must remove all containers. The feast will consist of two courses. The first course will start around 4:00 p.m. and the second will start around 6:00 p.m. We are looking for servers and kitchen help for the feast; please contact the Head Cook for more information.
Site fee is $7. Your ticket price for the door will give you access to a buffet (finger foods and some pies); if you want to join the feast, there will be an additional cost of $6.
Autocrat: Eirik Haarfager Goransson (contact info omitted). Head Cook: Euriol of Lothian (contact info omitted).
