From The Page (March, 1999):
Come one, come all; it is time to find the new champion of the great Barony of Fettburg. This year's tournament will be held Saturday, March 27. Armor inspection will start at 9:30 a.m.; the list will start at 11:00 a.m. It is also time to chose our next Bard of Fettburg; the bardic competition will be held Saturday night. Our Baron and Baroness, Sheik Qahtan & Sheika Kahena, would also like to personally invite all Arabic persons and personas to join them on the eric for all-evening activities. (OK. Even if you're not Arabic, you can come, too.) Sunday, there will be a great deal of fun, too, starting with three prize tourneys: an archery prize tourney, a rapier prize tourney, and a heavy fighting prize tourney. The Baronial Honor Guard Trials are scheduled for Sunday as well. Anyone interested in the challenge of the Baronial Honor Guard should contact Baroness Kahena at (phone) (no calls after 9:30 p.m., please). This year portends great things for this event, so please do join us. Friday night. Thorn will provide a feast for the first 30 people to attend (a $2 donation accepted, but not required). Arts&Sciences competition: Late Period clothing or Anything Edible (documentation required).
Fee: $6 for adults; $3 for children (ages 6-12); 6 and under are free.
Autocrat: Viscount Conor Weisszhan (& Viscountess Isa Von Speyer) (contact info omitted).
