From The Page (November, 1998):
Come, fair and gracious gentles, join the Barony of the Far West in celebrating the arrival of the Wise Men. This is a highly festive event, so wear your finery.
The competitions of the day include woodworking of toys and games, illuminated poetry (original or not), chainmail anything, baked goods, and award medallions. The medallions will then be added to the Baronial Treasure Chest. The day will be full of children's activities, classes, music and perhaps a play. The evening will be for feasting, dancing, and singing. Merchants are welcome.
The cost for the day is $5. Should you wish to stay for the feast, the cost is $10. Smalls 6-12 are half price; under 6 are free. If you wish to participate in a gift exchange, please bring a wrapped item valued at $10. Remember, feast space is limited, so please call and reserve.
Autocrat: Countess Brigit of Mercia (contact info omitted)
