Ducal Prize this year will be held at the River Front Park in the Pavillion area in Marysville, Ca. This is the same site as last year. Some of the many wonderful competitons are as follows: FIGHTING: Sword and Shield list. Ducal Team melee. Cat's Cadle melee, Polearm melee. No Shield list. Barroom Brawl, 3 Men Tied Together melee. Mass Weapons melee. ARTS & SCIENCES: sweetmeats, meads, herald's tabards, decorative woodworking, pavillion furnishings, best conversion of a mundane item, tableware, cosmetics. GAMES: sumo wrestling, hunkerhauser, spanghewing (prize for best frog exhibited in Froggenschau; frog flinging for fun). Drag Races (scored for style, not speed; group entries will be judged as a group), jacks, tug-o-war (teams of 5), scavenger hunt, arm wrestling (finals to be held in the evening), Monday Morning Wrestling. BARDIC: period piece with documentation, theme bardic: newcomers in the SCA, non-british invasion filk, period or period-style instrumental performance, three word story/song/poem (we give you 3 words which must be used in the piece). CHILDREN: boffer list, plus many games will have childrens divisions. ARCHERY: to be determined (possibly Shoot the Peer). DANCE: dancing on the eric Mon am. Also, The Hill People will be hosting "Dancing for Dollars."

Site donation is $5.00 for 12 and older. With this, you will get 5 drawing tickets. Under 12 are free.
