St. Katherine's Day Warlord Tourney and Feast -- St. Katherine

Come join the College of St. Katherine in celebrating the feast day of our Martyred Patron Saint. Compete in the Tourney to become the next Warlord of the College and win the right to lead the Mighty Lemming Horde into battle, or witness the spectacle. The Warlord competition will consist of a series of mini-tourneys and melees. (Come see our cliff tourney!) All fighters will have an opportunity to fight in all rounds of combat. Fighters may come to fight without fear of becoming warlord, but they may be barred from some scenarios.

Compete in our Art and Sciences competitions to win strange and valuable prizes. The cooking competition will be a vegetarian/ vegan dish. Bring enough to use as your entry for the pot-luck. Show your scholarship with period style hagiography about your favorite saint. (HINT: extra points for choosing the Right Saint). There will be a competition for "Something cool college students can use." These entries will be donations to the College unless otherwise requested.

Celebrate the dayUs festivities and the Martyrdom of St. Katherine of Alexandria in a pot-luck feast following the Tournament.

The Tourney will be at Cragmont Park in Berkeley, The site fee will be $3.00, The site will open at 8:30 a.m,, armor inspection and list sign-up start at 9:30, and fighting will begin at 10:30. The feast will begin at 5:30 p.m.; the feast site has not been determined, but directions will be available until the tournaments conclusion at 5:00 p.m.
