"The Pas du Fop replaced our Annual Prize Tourney. Each person played double-elimination rounds of chess, Nine-man-morris, and Backgammon. Each contestant also had the opportunity to participate in a dance lesson and competition. And extra points were awarded for “foppishness”. The ultimate result was that a non-fighter (I don’t recall his name, but he’s Merriana Loveman’s brother) became the Champion of Betony Wood. As you can see from the photos, this was a chilly day.
