Joseph D. Grant Park,
San Jose, CA
From The Page (March, 1998):
Prince Helmut and Princess Lydia invite you to witness the tourney to choose Their successors. Mists Spring Coronet will be held at Grant Park, Mt. Hamilton Road, in the hills east of San Jose. The site will open at 12:00 noon on Friday, and close at 3i00 p.m. Sunday. Lists sign-ups are expected to be taken on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Remember, to enter these Coronet Lists, the fighter must submit an item for display in the "1000 Years of Art and Science" exhibition. Grant Park is high in the hills, and so can be quite chilly at night; dress and camp accordingly. Please keep your dogs on a leash as there are wild pigs. The Rangers have requested no excessive noise (drums, for example) after 10:00 p.m.
Site donation: $5.00 per person; if you arrive on Saturday, you will need to pay a $3.00 fee per car to enter the park.
Autocrat: Elizabeth Fairweather (contact info omitted).
Site Autocrat: Rowan Celia FitzMarvln (contact info omitted).
