It is once again time for Esfenn's First Sword Tourney! This is a tourney where good things usually happen to the victors, and a good time is had by all. As usual, there will be lots of fun melees during the day as well as the tournament. So come one, come all!

Bards, Poets, Musical Performers! Remember that this is also the time for you to come out in the evening to perform at the feast for the honor of becoming Esfenn's Troubadour. We always look forward to that part of the day!

The event will be at our usual site, Weekes Park in Hayward, details and directions in the August Page.

The Shire of Esfenn welcomes all to this years First Sword and Archery Tourney. The First Sword Tournament will take place on Saturday, August 16th at Weekes Parks. The site will open, along with lists sign up, at 10 a.m. The day will be filled with the usual frivolity and fighting (there is talk of another Mouse Tourney). And there will be , as always the finest prizes to be had in the Shire.

There will be a potluck feast after the tourney with meat provided for all. Using the First Letter of your last name, please bring a dish according to the following: A-E Side Dish or Salad; F-N; Dessert; O-Z Bread and Cheese. The site fee is $7.00 for those over the age of 12 (chronologically, not mentally) years.

On Sunday, August 17th, the shire will be hosting the Second Annual Hood of Esfenn and Archery Prize Tourney. There will be of course the usual bounty of prizes and for the second year we will be choosing the next Hood of Esfenn.
