From The Page (July, 1997):
Pack up your trade goods, harness your camel and join us as we head East. The caravan departs at 12 noon, and pauses at the caravanseri for a Middle Eastern meal at 3pm. We arrive in Mongolia in time for the festival of Nadam, which spotlights "The Three Great Games of Men:" horse racing, wrestling and archery (Ladies, hike up your skirts and participate, too!). After the games we'll gather 'round the fire and share tales of our personas, and how they came to be on caravan. Bring along any SCA-related items you would like to trade or sell.
Contests: Banners, and Desserts with nuts
Site Fee: $7.00, smalls $3.50. A jug of water (none available on site) and an armload of wood would also be appreciated.
Autocrat: Gaemas (contact info omitted)
