From The Page (April, 1997):
Come share Beltaine! This Beltaine celebration will be a tent event. Period pavillions are preferred, but there will be an are for mundane tents also. The site opens at 12:00 noon TST (Typical Society Time) on Saturday, We will have bridge and woods battles, Earngyld's first boffer tourney, an outdoor feast (space limited), bardic and our favonte pub, The Inn of the Friendly Borders. If the weather and moods permit, we will have a Maypole Dance.
The outdoor feast will be prepared in an on-site food preparation area which can be extended to accomodate the cooking needs of those who will not be attending the feast and who wish to prepare their own meal. The needs of the Feastocrat do take precedence during feast preparation and clean up. If you wish to attend the feast please reserve your space by pre-paying the feast portion of your fee to the Autocrat.
There is no running water on site. I have arranged for a porta-castle. You will need to provide for your own needs for food/water/shelter. If you are not sure what to bring, check the Knowne World Handbook, or contact the autocrat.
Site: State land across from the Methodist camp, second turn out on your left.
Site Fee: (Adult/Child)Overnight: $6/$3, Day Only: $4/$3, Feast Fee: $10/$6
