The Thirty-second Year

Love and Beauty/Protectorate Tourney -- Borderwinds

August 2, 1997 (AS XXXII)

Waller Park,
Santa Maria, CA

From The Page (July, 1997):

Do you love combat? Then come to Borderwinds for our annual Love and Beauty/ Protectorate Tourney at beautiful Waller Park in Santa Maria!

The object of this tourney is to honor your consort through combat to gain them the title of "Lord/Lady of Love and Beauty" and the adoration of the Canton of Borderwinds and the Baroney of Tarnmist for an entire year. There is our annual Court of Love, held in their honor, in the Spring. We ask that all fighters for the Protectorate have their Consort present and be willing to participate in all Borderwinds/Tarnmist events, if possible (this includes The Court of Love).

For those who don't want the responsibilities of being our Protector — you can fight, too!

Site Fee: $1.00

This event is a potluck/barbeque. Please bring whatever meat you want to grill AND a dish to feed at least 6 people. (A-G=side dish, H-M=bread/salad, N-R=drinks,S-Z=desert.)
