Join us for the Windy Meads Pas d'Arms and Banquet on Saturday, April 19, The Pas will be held in Southland Park in Woodland. Armor inspection begins at 10:00a,m:, fighting at 10:30a,m, The Pas will consist of various forms of combat of course, but remember that a Pas d'Arms owes its special charm to the art of challenging your opponents, honoring your consort, and the splendor of heraldic and chivalric display. Banners, livery and personal heralds are encouraged. Site fee for the Pas is $1.

The banquet will uphold the tradition in Windy Meads for elegance and abundance. The menu theme is 16th c. Italian, and features four courses including seafood, fowl and pork as well as many other dishes (The full menu will be published in the April Page; lacto-ovo vege dishes in plenty). The gorgeous tudor Isanquet hall at St. Lukes in Woodland will be open at 5:00p.m. and dinner will begin at 6:00p.m., with the hall closing at 10:30p.m. Candles are encouraged and fermented beverages are allowed. Tickets for this sumptuous affair are only $13 (we assure you, this meal will make you think the last restaurant meal you paid that much for was a cheat in comparison) and are available by calling Lucrezia or Niamh at (phone).
