Our Baroness is once again searching for a Captain for her guard. Come and fight for the honor of serving Her Excellency, Morgana yr Oerfa.
Saturday: Captaincy tournament (Either the fighter or the consort must be a member of the populace of Winter's Gate.) Competition: Bread baked in/on the campsite. Entries will be judged by the populace at Saturday feast.
Saturday feast is potluck, bring enough to feed 6 - 8 hungry people by modern last name: A - J breads, butters and spreads/desserts; K - S Main Dish; T - Z Side Dish. Please bring your own beverages. Sunday food is bring your own.
Sunday: Competition: Siege Engines. OK, Catapults. Must be portable, that is portable by only one person, so you know they are small. No more that 3' x A' maximum. They must be homemade, although the plans don't necessarily have to be. Object is distance, although accuracy may be counted. I am hoping to set up at least a 40 meter field. (Shots will be provide - either softballs or bags of flour.) Ivory Thimble Tea. Bring your needlework and share (tentative).
Location: Growden Field #1, (address omitted). Site opens at 10am and closes at 10pm each day. The site is discretely wet - plan accordingly. Parents/guardians, this is a busy place, please watch your smalls accordingly. Limited crash space is available, please contact the autocrat. Site Fee: $1 per person 10 years old and over.
