Twelfth night AS XXXI will be returning to the civic center/Red Lion Inn in Modesto, Hotel rooms have been set aside for us at a special rate. To reserve a room call the Red Lion Inn at: (phone) or (phone) (be sure to mention you are with the SCA to get the convention rate). There will be two other conventions in town that weekend so you are encouraged to make hotel reservations as early as possible.
Tickets: Tickets will be available at events starting at October Crown from Amata Rothe or by mail from Keira Lye d' Alessendria. For tickets by mail send a stamped self addressed envelope to: (address omitted). Make checks payable to: SCA Inc. West Kingdom 12th Night. Take advantage of our early bird special: tickets will be $8.00 at October Crown thru October 15th. $10.00 thru December 30th. After that and at the door tickets will be $15,00. Parking passes (needed when leaving the parking garage) will be issued at the front door during the event.
Merchants: Contact the merchant coordinator Eric Von Steinhaus (phone) to reserve merchant space. Eight foot tables will be provided and the merchant fee will be $25.00 per table this will include one 12th night ticket and one car sized parking space in the parking lot. By agreement with the civic center and the hotel no food or alcohol can be sold.

Twelfth Night XXXI will be held at the Modesto Civic Center/Red Lion Inn. Rooms at the Red Lion can be reserved by calling (phone). Rates are $80.00 for up to four adults in a room, $95.00 for a corner king suite and $200.00 for a parlor suite. It is best to call during the week - the weekend staff does not always know what conventions are coming up.
To help decorate the hall, we are asking everyone to bring their banners and covered candle holders. Tables will be set up along the walls in the dining hall for crock pots (crock pots only - no hot plates). Beer and wine will be sold at the Hotel bar - NO OTHER ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED INSIDE THE CIVIC CENTER.
When arriving at the event, please use the main entrance of the Civic Center, located on K Street. If you are disabled and need parking or have any other special needs please call the autocrats before the event.
Activities: There will be numerous activities throughout the day. The last court of Jade and Juana will start at noon. There will be a short Laurel meeting at 10:15am, there will be a Chivalry meeting followed by a Pelican meeting between coronation and the first court of Cybi and Victoria. Several contests are scheduled- please refer to the contest calendar in the front of The Page. There will be a Casbah, and we are hoping to have dancing after Court. Details of all activities will be listed in the Twelfth Night Program available at the door.
